HALO 5: Guardians Might Be The End Of HALO?!?

WOW so you're probably here to see why I would think something as "crazy" as this, but in fact this idea is not too far fetched.
HALO started out making the first three a slow, grand shooter series. No sprint just pure wits and skill.
Then along came Reach. UGH...
Then came HALO Wars. Remember that? Sorry for the reminder.
Finally HALO 4 came on the scene. It was a return to Master Chief, newer HD graphics, and.....a sprint ability?!?! Where did this come from?!? Well they actually did try it out in Reach as an armor ability, but it wasn't forced onto every player such as in HALO 4. The HALO community got really upset over this and some people stuck to HALO 3.

Now with the upcoming HALO 5 Guardians many more HALO core gamers are mad because not only is their sprinting; but there is also boost, aim down sights, and THE ABILITY TO HOVER?!?! WTF???
Now obviously this new HALO has come about because of outside influences like Call of Duty, Counter Strike/Global Offensive, Titainfall, and its own internal influence: HALO 4. Will the new people that are drawn to HALO because of the changes offset those who are leaving?  "343" obviously thinks so because they even made a new game-type to cater to the up-and-coming genre of E-sports.
I am of course referring to Arena. It screams E-sports in every aspect. Now if HALO became as big of an E-sport as Counter Strike then this would be worth it for "343" but would this really be HALO? Yes, it would have the 'Chief in it. Yes, it would have all the guns (now with ADS). BUT IS THIS HALO?!?!?  NO!!  Where is the glorious campaign?  We will just have to wait and find out.
As Runner182 puts it: "These new features had better tie into this campaign..." Heres hopin'.

EDIT: As a side note HALO does have a movie, tv series, and now the russian online only version. these are other ways that 343 are making money and can funnel these funds toward their main course: more and more HALO games.
